You already stole your Daddy’s heart.

And your Mommy’s as well…

Welcome to this world baby ~ even if it was five weeks early!

Oli – I love you my Darling Niece.   God Bless.

I love these guys, my extended family….and their beyond gorgeous kids.  This was a casual get together, to catch up, eat some great food and have those warm and familiar conversations with each other.  Of course I brought my camera and instead of scheduling a session we did one impromptu right then and there.  Weather was perfect, lighting oh so yummy and the perfect backdrop of a beautiful home and leaves on the ground…thank you Fall!   Here are just some that I adore…

Many blessings guys….. I love you <3

…  enjoying lovely conversation, a warm fire and some wicked deviled eggs..yummm!

I was so excited to see Nikki and baby Connor, he’s grown so much in just a few months.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on him, and since his Mama and I are good friends, I felt comfortable squeezing and chewing on him for a while!  He is absolutely fabulous.   These are my favorites:

His eyes…..don’t they just melt you?

Rockstar!

His dimples and smiles were so precious.  I’m so excited to capture more milestones of Connor.  Thank you Nikky.  <3

I finally set up a date with my oldest daughter to have a day to ourselves and have some fun.  She’s watched me work, and wanted to know when I can photoshoot her…how cute!   So I promised to make a day of it and we had such a wonderful time.  She’s getting so big, I wanted to capture her maturity and do some creative processing on these, I love the way they turned out and I am posting just a couple tonight.

 I love this girl!!

I was honored when Ben’s Mama called me to schedule his photo session the day she gave birth!  I was dropping off her maternity prints one day and we had a blast discussing how to make her go into labor.  She told me her due date is tomorrow but baby seems to be so comfortable exactly where he is, so we concluded that it was going to be a while yet.

I get a call the next day from the hospital that BEN IS HERE, exactly on schedule!!! :D

….and he is as beautiful as ever.  And already so well behaved!  We got some great images and I was thrilled to be welcomed so warmly back into this family for Baby Ben’s very first photoshoot.  Many blessings to your whole family Ewa…. I was so excited to take these photos for you.  Here are some of my favorites….

Look at this blond hair!  um yes… we spiked it!

8 days old …. kinda wishing I looked that great after giving birth! :)

I love candind shots that capture pure emotion… like this one of proud Papa.  I love it.

The bedroom made for a perfect backdrop with baby blue colors and gorgeous light coming in…

It feels so special to be a part of something so wonderful and intimate.  I am so gateful… thank you.  xoxo

I’ve known Nichole since high school and I was so excited to have her venture out to my studio for a session with her three kids…brave woman!  How crazy to think that we both have three kids….where does the time go, really?   The girls were adorable in their matching dresses and they were so loving to their baby brother… who I kept having to steal and smooch every chance I got.  He was heavenly!   Here are a few of my favorites.

Look at those deep blue eyes!  A little heart-breaker in the making…and at 12 weeks old I was thrilled to get some great poses, which is always difficult at this age.

And his Mama loves him so much!

Big Sisters…. so proud and such great helpers!

And yes… I AM obsessed with long curly dark hair, can you tell?

Yes I sure did make her put on a warm fuzzy hat in 125 degree weather… but only for 10 seconds!  I had this processing in mind for a long time and was waiting for the perfect model to execute it…. thank you Ms. C, you were THE perfect model!

Oh the eyelashes!

I was so excited for this session.  The plan WAS to visit a local park, which had it all, flowers, a mansion and the perfect setting.  And because our weather is always unpredictable and it poured buckets the day before, we were left with a soggy and flooded park.  Ok, on to Plan B…and boy was I thrilled when I arrived!  A gorgeous home, a lovely sun set, trees, berries and flowers galore and get this, RED cushioned patio furniture!  Yup…I was a happy photographer!

The kids were just a joy too.  Dressed just right.  They played with their paper airplanes that they were happy to show off to me.   They were full of smiles, told me stories and we had so much fun.  And I love it when we have to move furniture to get just the right shot (C. you know what I mean!)

Thank you – B. family for a warm and wonderful welcome!  It was an absolute pleasure.  :)

Backyard fun in the sun!

And I am in love with this one of Miss. M.

My little girl was definitely up for this last night.  She knew I was excited to test out a new lens and was completely willing to get into a field of weeds for this quick sweet shot.   The sun was just beginning to set and the light was fabulous!  I think this little treat deserves a post…and that smile, sweet and shy, its just another side to this energetic crazy kid of mine!

FINALLY met up with my best friend and her daughters for some fun in the sun!  Well…there was fun and sun and mosquitoes and other bugs that were our uninvited guests, but it was ALL worth it for these.  And because I can never decide if I like the color or black and white version better…I am posting both.  Thanks B…I can’t tell you how much I love these and you and your stunning ‘babies’.  xoxo.

Maybe slamming on the breaks and stopping in the middle of the street was a little nuts, but completely worth this one!

Sunset+wild flowers=Photographer’s dream!  LOL.
